What to expect

How we work with you

Four things you can count on, whether you are meeting us for the first time or have been with us for years.

The plan comes first

Before we talk about any investment, we want to know what the money is for: when you plan to retire, what the income needs to cover, and what worries you. The portfolio exists to fund the plan.

You talk to the same people

Call the office and you reach someone who already knows your file. Hunter and Pat meet with clients personally, and the operations team behind them has been here for years. Nobody is routed to a call center.

Your CPA and attorney are part of the plan

We do not prepare tax returns or draft legal documents. We do build the plan, share the numbers with your tax preparer and your attorney, and make sure your account titling and beneficiary forms match what the documents say.

Plain language, in writing

You get a written plan that explains the trade-offs in everyday terms, and a review at least once a year. When something changes in your life or in the tax code, we revisit it sooner.

How we work, who we serve, and what clients say

These three pages go deeper. Start with whichever question is on your mind.

Our Process

What happens between the first phone call and the written plan, and how the relationship continues after that: a review of your real numbers, a strategy explained in plain language, and check-ins at least once a year.

What you will find

  • An introductory call at no cost
  • A review of your statements and documents
  • A written strategy with the trade-offs explained
  • Implementation and ongoing reviews
